The County Government of Nakuru has opened an ultra-modern health facility at Kiptangwanyi that aims to improve Materna health-care services.
The 24-bed maternity unit is hosted at Kiptangwanyi Dispensary.
The facility was made possible through support of World Vision Kenya and and Shionogi.
“This facility will significantly improve maternal healthcare services, ensuring expectant mothers receive quality care closer to home,” stated Governor Susan Kihika through a message read by Deputy Governor David Kones during the opening.
It should be noted that Kiptangwanyi Dispensary serves the highest number of residents in Gilgil Sub-county after Gilgil Sub-county Hospital.
According to Kihika, the new maternity unit strengthens commitment to accessible healthcare.
The County Government has appreciated World Vision for their continued support in the health and sector.
