The county government of Nakuru has commenced a comprehensive training Program for Community Health Promoters(CHPs).
The rolled out Program aims to enhance the skills of 300 prioritized CHPs.
The trainings are taking place in various sub-counties.
The move will build the capacity of CHPs on the community health module, ensuring they can provide high-quality grassroots health services.
This initiative is a key part of Governor Susan Kihika’s promise to continually support and strengthen the capabilities of CHPs.
The county is improving access to essential health services for residents by empowering the primary healthcare workforce to address promotive and preventive healthcare needs more effectively.
