A woman who fell in a latrine at Naka estate in Nakuru Town East Constituency has been rescued.
Kenya Red Cross Society confines that the rescue was successful.
According to the Society, the woman was rescued and rushed to hospital for treatment.
“A rescue operation was launched in Naka area, Nakuru, after a lady fell into a pit latrine. She has just been rescued and rushed to hospital for treatment. Kudos to the rescue team on the ground,” stated the society.
The incident happened at around 7.00am when the woman aged about 55 years identified as Lilian fell in a pit latrine at her premises in Naka estate.
Security and rescue team under the leadership of of OCS mwariki Police station arrived at the scene for rescue mission.
