Nakuru Town West MP Samwel Arama has criticized his opponents for repeatedly making baseless and populist claims without offering any solid solutions.
In an interview with one of the online TV stations in Nakuru, Arama told off his opponents for consistently resorting to empty rhetoric without offering substantive proposals on how to improve the lives of electorates of Nakuru West.
According to the third term serving Lawmaker, his opponents have continued to play politics of propaganda that have no room in the current dispensation.
Arama who prides in having initiated several development projects in Nakuru Town West Constituency, urged the opponents to prepare for the 2027 elections in which he is optimistic that he will trounce over them.
According to him, 2027 politics will major in service delivery scorecard, an area he say he has done better.
At the same time, Arama who is defending his seat in 2027 maintained that politics of division and tribalism have no room in Nakuru Town West.
“We have no room for incitement and tribalism in Nakuru West. Those trying to bring such are ill advised and should re-thin,” stated Arama.
The Legislator called on his opponents to avert propaganda and come up with tangible solutions towards improving the livelihoods of the people.
Arama has been the MP for Nakuru Town West since 2013.
In the last general polls of 2022, he contested on Jubilee Party Leader and won against UDA wave that was sweeping across Nakuru County.
He has on many occasions pronounced his support for Dr Fred Matiang’i who has declared interest in 2027 Presidential bid.
