On Saturday, Governor Susan Kihika, First Gentleman Mr. Sam Mburu showed the gesture by donating early Christmas to needy families.
The exercise was also attended by Nakuru Deputy Governor David Kones, County Secretary Samuel Mwaura, and CO Gender and Social Services Gladys Kamuren- who helped in the distribution of the foodstuffs.
Taking to her social media handles, Governor Kihika termed this as a move to ensure everyone in society has a reason to smile during the festive season.
The foodstuffs was donated to residents of Mosop and Kiamaina Wards.
It should be noted that the two wards neighbors Nakuru First Family residential in Ngata and Engashura respectively.
“Sharing holiday cheers with neighbours in Mosop and Kiamaina Wards.
Merry Christmas,” stated Kihika.
