MP Njoki calls on society to embrace parents, elderly persons

Bahati Member of Parliament Irene Njoki has called on society to continue embracing parents and elderly persons in society.

The Lawmaker stated that caring for parents and the elderly is an opener to more blessings.

“Our parents are the roots of our lives; caring for them honors the foundation they gave us,” she stated.

The first term serving MP in Parliament was speaking when she visited her mother for Thanksgiving, continuing our tradition of regularly celebrating and cherishing parents.

According to the Lawmaker, “these moments remind society the need to nurture bonds with those who raised us. Let’s all make time for our parents, especially in their golden years. Their presence is a true blessing.”

MP Njoki was joined by Governor Susan Kihika, Hon Millicent Omanga, Hon Rahab Mukami, Nyeri County Women Rep,  Hon. Lydia Haika, and Senator Veronica Maina.
