
Nakuru Town West MP Samwel Arama will on Tuesday May 6, 2025 lead constituents in a public participation forum on the Constitutional Amendment Bill No 4, 2025 of National Assembly.
According to public announcement, the venue of the forum will be at Nakuru Town West NG-CDF office at Githima.
MP Arama urged residents to turn out in large numbers so that their views can be incorporated in the Bill.
The Bill seeks to entrench NG-CDF, Senate Oversight Fund and National Affirmative Action
The focus will focus on proposed amendments to entrench the NG-CDF, Senate Oversight Fund, and Affirmative Action Fund in the Constitution.
The National Assembly embarked on a nationwide public participation exercise on the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 4 of 2025).
This follows a Communication read by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Moses Wetang’ula.
This Bill seeks to amend the Constitution to formally entrench the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF), the Senate Oversight Fund, and the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF).
