Governor Kihika rolls up sleeves to address challenges facing Health facilities

Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has reiterated her commitment towards addressing challenges facing Health facilities in the county.

This follows her impromptu visit at Nakuru Level 5  hospital on Thursday February 29, 2024.

Later the Governor chaired chaired a consultative meeting to discuss the challenges noted, and identify solutions.

Some of the challenges noted to be facing Health facilities in the county includde issues around Human Resource, Financing, Equipping, Pending Bills and infrastructure.

“We are committed to addressing all these challenges progressively, to ensure an even more improved performance on service delivery,” stated Kihika.

The consultative meeting was also attended by MPs David Gikaria (Nakuru Town East) Samuel Arama (Nakuru Town West),  the Medical Superintendents of PGH, PGH Annex, Naivasha Hospital and the Department of Health led by CECM Roselyn Mungai.

It should be noted that during her campaigns, Kihika vowed to ensure better healthcare system.
