Immediate Head Government Delivery Services De. Peter Mbae has hinted at contesting Nakuru Senatorial Seat 2027.
Dr. Peter Mbae is a Leadership and Governance expert with a wide knowledge on County and National Governments and bias for community based sustainable transformation.
He is passionate, self driven, team player with ability to mobilize partnerships and networks towards youth and women empowerment, peace and human rights initiatives.
Dr. Mbae holds a PhD in Peace and Conflict Studies from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, a Master of Arts Degree in Communication and Media Studies from the School of Journalism, University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Nairobi.
He is a Certified Professional Mediator with the Mediation Training Institute International East Africa.
He is a member of Institute of Chartered Mediators and Concilators (ICMC) and member of Public Relations Society of Kenya.
In addition, he has a rich career in public service.
Until 2024, he was Head, Government Delivery Services.
Between 2023 and 2024, Dr. Mbae served as Head, Ministerial Secretary Programmes, Ministry of Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management.
From 2022 to 2023, he was Secretary Investments Promotion and Head of Ministerial Delivery Unit, Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry.
In 2017, he win the Kabazi MCA’s seat, a position he served until 2022.
Prior to that, Dr. Mbae had served as a member Nakuru County Public Service Board from 2013 to 2017.
He believes leadership is all about transforming lives of electorates.
