Democracy for the Citizens Party(DCP) members in Nakuru have been urged to stand in solidarity with Naivasha MP Jayne Kihara as she appears at DCI Headquarters Nairobi on Wednesday July 16, 2025.
The message has been delivered by DCP Party Nakuru Branch Secretary General Simon Ole Nasieku.
Addressing Press on Tuesday, Nasieku stated that as DCP members in Nakuru, they will mobilize themselves and appear physically and DCI offices Nairobi in solidarity with MP Jayne Kihara
He confirmed that indeed the Lawmaker had been summoned to appear at DCI offices.
Nasieku was quick to add that this might be in relation to the fact that MP Jayne Kihara is a strong supporter of former DP Rigathi Gachagua.
The DCP Nakuru SG was reiterated that there have been plans by government to intimidate DCP members.
While noting that Kenya is a democratic country, Nasieku added that as DCP members in Nakuru and Kenya as a whole, they will not relent in pushing for fairness and rule of law.
He called on DCP members in Nakuru to maintain their stand and never to allow intimidation from any corner.
