Nakuru-based businessman Maina Wakabura has called for the need to have thorough multi-faceted approach process of vetting the Cabinet Secretary nominees.
In a statement to Newsrooms, Wakabura noted that the ongoing vetting process is key in ensuring proper individuals get to the cabinet.
“The exercise requires a thorough and multi-faceted approach to ensure that candidates possess the necessary qualifications, ethical standards, and commitment to Public Service,” he stated.
According to Wakabura, the Appointing Authority selected the individuals since he believed they were capable, trustworthy, and dedicated to serving the public.
He added that the public expects the approved CSs to exhibit integrity, competence, accountability, and a commitment to serving the Country effectively and fairly.
“Meeting these expectations is crucial for building and maintaining public trust, ensuring good governance, and achieving positive outcomes for the society as a whole,” he stated.
