UKWELI PARTY Leader Boniface Mwangi has called on youth who are yet to register as voters to do so and ensure their votes count in wiping out corrupt leaders.
Mwangi says young people are the lot to bring about the paradigm shift in leadership of this country.
Speaking in Nakuru on Saturday after meeting University Students’ leadership and opening Party Office at Kabarak, Mwangi was categorical that he will continue to lobby to ensure no corrupt leader is re-elected or elected into office.
The re-known activist who has declared that he is in the race for Presidency assured his supporters that he will not lie low and accept as things go wrong in the country.
On matters corruption in the country, the UKWELI PARTY Leader affirmed that he will lobby to ensure amendment to the laws so that anyone whom the courts find culpable of corruption is hanged.
“We need to change the law so that those who are found culpable of corruption, they are hanged. This is the only way we shall end corruption in this country,” he stated.
According to him, Kenya is facing economic crisis due to corruption in various sectors, which should be addressed as a priority.
Mwangi also used the moment to affirm the unity of opposition adding that he shall work with anyone in the opposition as long as they share the same ideology of transforming Kenya.
The vocal Mwangi added that he will commence grassroot campaigns to sell the UKWELI PARTY agenda.
He at the same time announced that the Party will work closely with young people including those who have political ambitions and support the same.

“Youth have potential to bring about change in this country due to their numbers. To all those who will be in the race for various seats, the Party shall support through their campaigns. We shall plan for a mega meeting in Nakuru in the days to come. The country is facing challenges from economy to matters social, and therefore the 2027 general elections will be a turning point in this country,” he said.

He stated that with the opening of the party’s office in Nakuru, then it means Nakuru UKWELI PARTY members are joining the national conversation moving forward.
