Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has lauded religious leaders for their continued support to initiatives that improve livelihoods.
Kihika noted that the Church has continued to remain steadfast in matters development at grassroot level.
She was speaking in Mauche on Sunday September 20, 2026 when she joined congregants in Mauche Ward, Njoro Sub-County, and representatives from the 11 host churches for the Mau East International Churches Fundraiser.
The fundraiser was held to support completing the construction of sanctuaries and advancing the Church’s mission of development and evangelism.
“The Church remains an important partner in strengthening our communities, nurturing faith, and supporting initiatives that improve our people’s lives,” she stated.
The event held at Mauche Primary was also graced by are MP Charity Kathambi, MPs David Gikaria, Joseph Tonui, Liza Chelule, Deputy Governor David Kones, CECMs, COs, and MCAs, led by the host Moses Koros.
