Kivumbini Ward ODM youth politician Marcel Mullah has vowed to challenge the victory of his opponent Suleiman Wangila in the just concluded ODM grassroot elections in Nakuru.
Mullah was contesting youth leader position in the elections held at Gilgil Stadium in Gilgil Subcounty.
Though he got 4 votes while his competitor Suleiman Wangila got 10 votes, Mullah has disputed the results.
He says he will file a petition over the same and demand the results be nullified.
The politician argues that his competitor who was declared winner had delegates who were above 35 years of age hence not qualified to vote for youth category.
“I will appeal because it is very clear that my opponent had delegates who were not youth,” he stated.
The slot had attracted three contestants: Suleiman Wangila who got 10 votes, Colins Omondi and Mulla Marcel who got 8 and 4 votes respectively.
