The County Government of Nakuru through the Health Department is on a mission to address numerous gaps that have been there when it comes to matters Sexual Reproductive Health(SRH) and Family Planning(FP).
Already the Department of Health has been implementing a project to address the gaps.
The Project dubbed ‘The Challenge Initiative’ (TCI) is supported by Jhpiego.
This was revealed as the TCI team had a progress review meeting with the County Executive Committee Member for Health, Roselyn Mungai.
According to the team, 56% of the project has already been implemented.
The focus is now on strategies for the remaining 44% to be completed by end of the year.
