Bahati Member of Parliament Irene Njoki has urged parents to remain vigilant in safeguarding their children during the long holiday season.
The Lawmaker noted that with the holiday season, comes with numerous challenges in society.
She adds that parents should ensure their children are not engaging in harmful influences.
The MP pointed out that there is need for concerted effort towards ensuring safe, supportive environment for youth.
“As the holiday season begins, I urge parents to remain vigilant in safeguarding their children from harmful influences, such as exposure to inappropriate content and the risk of drug use. Let’s work together to create a safe, supportive environment that nurtures their growth and well-being,” she stated.
This even as the MP’s office team joined Soujanaars Academy in Lanet umoja Ward for a vibrant graduation and prayers ceremony for its PP 2 and Grade 6 pupils as they transition to the next stages of their education.
