MP Njoki assures constituents of conducive environment for trade, businesses

Bahati MP Irene Njoki has assured her constituents and traders of conducive environment for businesses.

Speaking on May 16, 2024 when together with Governor Susan Kihika led the laying of foundation for Kabatini Modern Market in Kabatini Ward, Njoki noted the great contribution of traders towards economy of counties and country at large.

She noted that as lawmakers they will play their part in ensuring a conducive environment for businesses towards boosting the economy.

“Together with the county government led by Governor Susan Kihika, we have officially launched the construction of a modern 2 storey market at Kabatini center in Kabatini ward. We aim to provide our traders with a conducive and friendly environment for their businesses,” she said.

The event was also graced by Area MCA Leah Ng’ang’a, MPs Florence Jematiah (Baringo) and Rahab Mukami (Nyeri) as well as Nakuru Deputy Governor David Kones.

The modern market project is a collaboration between National and County Government and will feature facilities such as baby care services (creche), cold room facilities, administration offices, open spaces, a food court, an ICT hub, and a revenue center. It will also have ablution blocks with showers, security lighting, and garbage disposal facilities.

A similar modern market shall be set up in Dundori.
