The role of Church in society cannot be ignored, Njoro MP Charity Kathambi has stated.
The Lawmaker spoke on Sunday during interdenominational Religious Leaders Fellowship held in Njoro.
According to Kathambi the Church and religious leaders have continued to play key role in matters peace, shaping morals and spiritual nourishment.
The meeting held at AIC Njoro brought together leaders from Njoro Sub county.
She noted that Church remains a place to seek refuge, and forms a stronghold for believers.
The Legislator called on society and leaders to support the church in development matters.
