Njoro Member of Parliament Charity Kathambi has urged constituent to take lead in matters environment conseravtion.
In her statement as the World marked Enviromment Day 2026, Kathambi reiterated the importance of Kenyans taking lead in protection of natural resources.
This year’s theme is: Now For Climate.
Kathambi pointed out that Climate action starts with each one.
She affirmed the importance of planting more trees, managing waste responsibly towards a greener environment.
“Let us plant more trees, protect our water sources, manage waste responsibly, and work together to create a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment for future generations,” stated Kathambi.
According to the Lawmaker, every small action counts.
“Together, we can make Njoro Constituency a model of environmental conservation and sustainable development,” she added.
