Residents of Nessuit in Njoro subcounty of Nakuru County have a reason to smile following the commenced construction of a new police station.
Once complete, the new station will go a long way in enhancing security.
Area MP Charity Kathambi who laid the foundation stone reiterated the importance of enhanced security in the area.
She added that, her leadership is working towards ensuring peaceful coexistence amongst all communities in Njoro.
“We are fully committed to maintaining peaceful coexistence amongst all communities living in any part of Njoro sub-County,” she said.
She pointed out that the new police station is in line towards bringing government services closer to Wananchi.
The event was also graced by Njoro sub-County DCC, Njoro OCPD, clergy , local chiefs among other leaders.
