Nakuru Town West MP Samwel Arama on Wednesday met opinion leaders from Kapkures Ward to chat way forward on matters development.
The delegation included opinion leaders, youth and elders from Kapkures Ward.
Led by their MCA Robert Ruto, former MCA Langat and other respected community leaders, the leaders aired their concerns and areas that need to be addressed by the MP.
Famousnakuru.co.ke has learnt that the meeting focused on key development priorities.
Discussion majored on Sectors such as education, security, the road network and socio-economic empowerment.
Speaking during the event, MP Arama assured the delegation of his support on matters development.
He pointed out that no part of Nakuru Town West Constituency shall be left behind on matters development.
The third term serving Lawmaker called on the opinion leaders to continue supporting his development agenda through helping find practical and sustainable solutions to challenges that emerge.
“We need to work together as leaders and support development agenda. As opinion leaders we should be part of finding amicable solution to challenges facing us in society,” stated Arama.
The Legislator also used the moment to urge residents of Nakuru Town West to shun divisive and tribal politics, adding that such have no room and only meant to hinder development.
The delegation reaffirmed and strengthened the existing political working relationship, emphasizing unity and shared development goals.
On his part, Francis Njoroge, Political Advisor to Governor Susan Kihika, lauded the residents for promoting inclusive dialogue and proactive engagement.
He assured the delegation that Governor Kihika is keenly attentive to their needs and will act promptly on the development requests raised.
