Nakuru Town West MP Samwel Arama on Friday August 15, 2025 hosted Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika and Nakuru County MPs’ caucus for opinion leaders consultative meeting.
Speaking during the meeting, MP Arama called on residents to shun politics of division but rather get leaders on merit of performance and service delivery.
The Lawmaker was categorical that leadership is all about service delivery to the people adding that come 2027, it will be about service delivery scorecard, and not noise and sloganeering politics.
“If someone has performed during tenure in office then come 2027 the electorates have the power to reelect them,” he stated.
Arama at the same time rallied support for Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika and President William Ruto’s second term.
He noted that the duo have had people’s interests at heart since they were elected into office in 2022.
Arama who is defending his seat come 2027, lauded the unity of Nakuru leaders and cc called on residents to continue supporting elected leaders in delivery of campaigns promises.
Other leaders who graced the meeting in London Ward included Woman Representative Lisa Chelule, David Gikaria(MP Nakuru Town East), Joseph Tonui(MP Kuresoi South) Charity Kathambi(MP Njoro) , Irene Njoki of Bahati, Samuel Gachobe of Subukia, and Paul Chebor of Rongai.
