Nakuru residents and Kenyans at large woke up to dark Wednesday morning following a tragic road accident that claimed two lives.
The 7am accident happened at Media Junction also known as gateiguru near entry to Nakuru CBD when a lorry lost control in what is suspectedly brakes failure and crashed two people who died on the spot while injuring several others.
The two who lost their lives are said to be a St. Joseph Primary School pupil and a boda boda rider.
The student had just alighted a Matatu and was crossing the busy Highway when the incident occured.
The accident caused heavy traffic in the area as traffic officers tried to control.
The bodies were taken to Annex Funeral Home alias Kwa Jack Mortuary while the injured were rushed to hospital for treatment.
