As Kenyans prepare towards August, 2027 general polls, several Presidential aspirants have continued to declare their interests to battle it out with Dr. William Ruto.

They include Dr. Isaac Newton Kinity, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, Dr. Fred Matiang’i, Martha Karua, Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, Eliud Owalo, Justin Muturi, Eugene Wamalwa, and former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua among others.
However, Dr. Kinity continues to stand out as most preferred with a huge backup from the GenZs and University Students.
“We want a clean person and that is why we believe that Dr. Kinity is the best of all,” stated Faith Moraa- a University Student in Nakuru’s Subukia Sub county.
On his part Armon Kamau- a member of student leaders Association in Nakuru says Dr. Kinity has shown that he is ready to save taxpayers money by ending corruption.
Not only is Dr. Kinity receiving backup from University Students, but also from young professionals who believe time for change in the leadership of Kenya is now.
Japheth Oduor Simba from Kisumu says the country has gone through a lot and needs a liberator who will fight corruption and ensure public funds are used for the intended purpose.
For this lot, there is need for paradigm shift from the current political leadership.

Dr. Kinity- a Kenyan-born human rights activist, anti-corruption crusader, and former trade union leader is elevated due to his clean history when it comes to matters fight against corruption in Kenya.
Born in August 1954 in Elburgon, Kenya, Kinity Served as the Secretary-General of the Kenya Union of Civil Servants.
A position he used to ensure the welfare of civil servants is well taken care of.
This saw him brush shoulders in the wrong way with the government at that time when talking against atrocities was not welcomed.
He however did not lie low and watch as government of the day frustrated workers and Kenyans at large, but stood up against such.
As fate would have it, Kinity Fled Kenya for the United States as a refugee in 2000 after facing severe government targeting, threats, and physical assaults linked to his anti-corruption work.
Even as a resident of USA, Dr. Kinity has never given up in advocating for good governance just as he did in 1985 when he founded the Kenya Revolutionary Redemption Council (K.R.R.C.) in 1985 to advocate for good governance.
While in USA, Dr. Kinity has always had Kenya at heart calling out bad governance and corruption, which he believes is the root cause of the problems facing Kenyan.
He has recently called out President William Ruto’s government more so on matters corruption, in what he believes has continued to hinder development.
His calls have been backed by GenZs in Kenya who went into history by rejecting Finance Bill through peaceful demonstrations that brought Kenya to a standstill in their quest for good governance.
The GenZs believe that Kenya needs a Presidential aspirant who has a clean record, free-of corruption.
Currently, Dr. Kinity resides in Connecticut, USA, where he chairs the Kikimo Foundation for Corruption & Poverty Eradication and serves as Global Vice-Chairman of the Diaspora Movement of Kenya.
He has been active in international anti-corruption forums and tracking governance reforms in Kenya.
As a Presidential hopeful who will soon be launching his campaigns strategy, Dr. Kinity believes that those in opposition in Kenya are as responsible for the mess and the unbearable situation in the Nation as those in governance.
“It is unfortunate in Kenya today because those in governance and those in opposition are all responsible for the unbearable situation Kenyans are in. They are the same people who have looted public funds and crippled the nation and cause the suffering and the agony Kenyans find themselves in today,” he stated in a recent press release.
And as the clock ticks towards August, 2027 general elections, Dr. Kinity reminds Kenyans that those calling themselves opposition were in government the other day, and they were the looters of public funds then, yet today they are challenging corruption to blindfold Kenyans into believing that they are the redeemer of Kenyans but with their mindset ready to go back in Governance to loot more public funds.
Dr. Kinity opines that Kenya will only be saved from the decades of quagmire by a Kenyan with proven abilities of patriotism and proven abilities of leadership, noting that any political experiences and leadership skills gained from governance of previous administrations in Kenya, is dangerous and would only continue to hurt Kenyans more because they are political experiences and leadership skills of looting public funds, Land grabbing, extrajudicial killings and abductions.
