Lanet Umoja Ward aspirant Peter Mandela Chek has urged young people within the Ward to consolidate their votes and have their voices count in the 2027 general elections.
Mandela who is banking on consolidated votes from across the Ward to emerge the winner, says young people have great potential.
In a press release, the aspirant who is already engaging youth through various initiatives at community level, was categorical that he is ready to champion for the rights of all members of the community within Lanet Umoja Ward.
He reiterated the need for working together and ensuring unity of purpose ahead of 2027 polls.
The youthful MCA aspirant believes that unity is key in addressing the challenges facing Lanet Umoja Ward residents.
He affirmed that under his leadership, no one will be left out on matters development.
His focus, he says remains working closely with the local community to identify their priorities and push for practical solutions.
“We will advocate for better roads, adequate street lighting, improved security, and meaningful empowerment opportunities for our young people,” he said.
While noting that youth are greatest asset, Peter Mandela Chek maintain that creating opportunities, supporting their talents, and involving them in community development, will go a long way in ensuring reduced insecurity and build a safer, more prosperous Lanet Umoja Ward.
