Kivumbini Ward MCA aspirant James Kihoria ditches UDA for DCP

Kivumbini Ward MCA aspirant James Kihoria has ditched United Democratic Alliance(UDA) party and joined Democracy for the Citizens Party(DCP).

Kihoria stated that he had made the decision after through consultations with the Kivumbini Ward residents and his supporters.

Speaking at the Party office in Nakuru, Kihoria maintained that he is in the race for the Kivumbini Ward seat come 2027.

He urged his supporters to back his decision and ensure that DCP emerges with victory.

While citing the recent by-election in Olkalou where DCP carried the day, Kihoria stated that Kenyans have always made their stand, adding that no any form of intimidation will deter them from making the right choice.

“After consultations with constituents, I have decided to join DCP and this is the party that I will use to contest the Kivumbini Ward seat,” he said.

Kihoria was received by DCP Nakuru branch Secretary General Simon Ole Nasieku.

The SG assured aspirants that there will be free and fair party primaries.

“DCP will hold free and fair party primaries and the winner is the one who will be given DCP certificate,” he said.

Nasieku also used the moment to call on all DCP supporters in Nakuru to remain steadfast and ensure victory in various slots.
