How Brian Odhiambo’s mother caused CS Murkomen to suspend his speech in Nakuru

Cabinet Secretary Interior and National Administration Kipchumba Murkomen was in Nakuru County to launch the National Mobile ID registration outreach program, however something happened.

The Spirit of Brian Odhiambo who went missing on February 18 seemed to have taken over after Brian’s mother Elizabeth Auma made her way through to the Cabinet Secretary.

Attempts by security team would not deter the desperate woman seeking justice for her son who went missing in the hands of  Kenya Wildlife Service officers.

During the event, Mama Brian caught the eyes of the CS who had to suspend his speech for two or three minutes to listen to mama Brian.

She whispered to the CS some words which saw the CS order the security team to give her a seat.

“Wacheni huyu mama aketi pale… Nitashughulikia mambo yake.(Leave her alone…I will address her issue),” stated CS Murkomen.

And true to his words, the CS later indicated that he had a meeting with Mama Brian.

Through official Facebook page, the CS revealed that all the concerns raised by Mama Brian will be addressed.

“As I had promised her at our earlier interaction during the launch of the National Mobile Registration Outreach Programme at Shabab, I later met Mama Elizabeth Auma Ogega, the mother to Brian Odhiambo who disappeared in Lake Nakuru National Park. I assured her that I will follow up on the matter and that the government will do everything possible to account for the whereabouts of her missing son,” stated CS Murkomen.

Earlier in the day the CS had indicated that investigations are on in the matter and that KWS officers who will be found culpable will be arrested and prosecuted.
