Eng Ngatia: President’s visit to Mount Kenya had no people’s interests

President William Ruto’s recent visit to Mount Kenya region had no people’s interests.
Nakuru based Businessman and Political analyst Engineer Victor Ngatia says the visit had other motifs.
Speaking on Nakuru Tusemezane Program on Nakuru TV on Thursday evening, Ngatia was categorical that the visit had political interests rather than the people’s.
He argued that following the recent happenings that led to the impeachment of former DP Rigathi Gachagua, then the President’s visit was supposed to be a took to unite Mount Kenya region and Kenyans at large, but the utterances issued were far from that.
Ngatia who is passionate about issues of accountable Servant Leadership, noted that the visit has seen the government try to woo the region through incentives such as food donations and money so that they can show up in meetings, which according to him should not be the case.
“But truth be told the Kenya Kwanza Government is losing the Mountain Region,” he stated.
Ngatia called on Kenyans not to relent in advocating for good governance and electing leaders of integrity.
