Interior Cabinet Secretary has amazed Kenyans in a way he has continued to tour several counties in the country to put straight matters security and the fight against illicit brew and drugs and substance abuse.
On Monday very early, the CS was in Kericho county eliciting reactions on social media with Kenyans praising the CS for the dedication towards his work.
The CS later proceeded to tour Nandi, Uasin Gishu, Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, and Busia Counties where he held security meetings with specific county security teams.
He reiterated that the Government will not relent in the fight against illicit brew and drugs and substance abuse.
Later in the afternoon, Kindiki made it to Siaya county where he announced that the Government has availed the resources to operationalize all administrative units previously gazetted but have remained unoperational due to lack of budgetary allocation.
According to Kindiki, More such units will be gazetted and operationalized in the medium term to ensure greater decentralisation of essential Government services such as registration for National Identity documents, registration of births and deaths and administrative services.
While in Siaya, Kindiki held a consultative forum with the Siaya County and Intelligence Committee at Siaya Town, to build consensus on security management priorities and the coordination of National Government programs in the County.
