We all have a role in shaping our children’s future, Co-operatives Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui has said.
The CS challenged every stakeholder to play role in ensuring every child gets quality education.
He was speaking when he visited Emining Special School in Emining Sub-county of Baringo County.
“As part of my contribution to promoting education, today, I was honoured and humbled to visit Emining Special School in Emining Sub-County, Baringo County together with Nandi Governor Stephen Sang and the Board of Directors and management of FOUR N.T.E Sacco Ltd,” he stated.
The CS expressed satisfaction in the level of sacrifice and love exhibited by the teachers and the board of Emining Special School which offers education to children with special needs from as far as Migori County.
Chelugui called on parents to support Government agenda on matters education.
He revealed that the government is building partnerships with the private sector players to push its development agenda forward.
“Every child has something unique, special and worth; our responsibility is to help them realize their dreams,” he stated.
Also present were Emining Ward MCA Hon. Purity Talam, Boresha DT Sacco Chief Executive Officer Jacob Mengich and Skyline Sacco Chief Executive Officer Allan Mitei.
