It was all smiles and joy on Saturday as Team Maina Wakabura joined Grace Muiga Foundation in supporting the widow.
The event held at PCEA Freearea in Nakuru East Ward saw widows receive donations besides sharing a meal.
According to Businessman Maina Wakabura, widows often face significant emotional, social, and financial challenges after the loss of their spouses.
He called on society to join hands in ensuring better welfare for widows.
“It is our duty to ensure that they do not face these hardships alone,” he said.
The philanthropist expressed optimism that through partnership, there shall be a community where no one feels alone and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
