It was a sigh of relief for 8 families affected by fire incident that destroyed their homes and property.
Officials from the department of Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance visited Chepkiswet village in Kiptagich ward, Kuresoi South sub county to assist the 8 families.
The team led by Abdulkarim Shaban; Amalo ward admin alongside Kiptagich ward MCA Rose Chepkoech Mutai, provided the families with essential items such as food, mattresses and blankets to help them resuscitate their lives.
Area MCA Mutai, expressed her gratitude for the positive gesture shown by the county government towards the people of Kiptagich ward.
In her statement, she commended the efforts of the government for recognizing and addressing the needs of the community.
