The County Government of Nakuru on Tuesday April 9, 2024 distributed gift hampers to Muslim community in Gilgil and Naivasha Sub counties ahead of Idd-ul-fitr.
In the spirit of Ramadan, a team led by Deputy Governor David Kones and County Secretary Dr. Samuel Mwaura joined the Muslim community in Naivasha and Gilgil Sub-counties as they marked the end of the holy month.
The team also distributed gift hampers in preparation for Idd-il-fitr to be marked on Wednesday.
The event was also attended by MCAs Mwangi Muraya, Alex Mbugua Hassan Haji and CEC for Lands John Kihagi.
Chief Officers Samwel Ndegwa and Joyce Ncece were also present.
Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has wished the Muslim community a joyous celebration during this festive time.
