
Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has lauded the great achievements made by elected Women Leaders across the country.

Speaking at the G7 Activation Summit, Kwale Chapter, hosted by Governor Fatuma Achani, Governor Kihika noted that women in leadership have continued to demonstrate their prowess in service delivery.
She urged on society to continue supporting women in leadership towards making a better society.
During the meeting, the female Governors celebrated major milestones, including the official opening of the Kwale Oncology Centre and the laying of the foundation for a modern Renal Unit at Kinango County Hospital.
They also toured the Kwale Audio-Visual Studio, inspected the new Kwale Stadium and later held discussions highlighting the power of their shared vision as female governors.
The Governors vowed to ensure increase in the number of women governors from 7 to 24 by 2027.
“We are committed to increasing the number of women governors from 7 to 24 by 2027, strengthening devolution and advancing development across the country,” she stated.
Governor Kihika at the same time lauded Governor Achani for the visionary leadership, terming it a showcase of what women in leadership can achieve.
