A section of vendors in Nakuru have faulted the recent Jamaican’s Glen Washington’s show at Nakuru Athletics club.
According to the vendors, they were charged huge amount but the event turned out to be unsuccessful after several participants kept off.
According to the vendors, the event was well organized but the events of the previous Naivasha event where an artist was short during the event is what led to the low turn out of the events in Nakuru’s Athletic club.
Speaking to famousnakuru.co.ke, the irate vendors wondered why they had to pay so huge amounts yet there was no business at the premise of the event due to the low turnout.
They have called on the government to ensure the hosts of the event compensate the participants and moreso the vendors.
According to association of Vendors there was no fruitful business at the facility as many focused on their businesses.
They have called on Government to ensure smooth run of their businesses.
“We have no other body that can defend us. This is the time that we should make a difference,” they stated.
