Vihiga County Governor Wilber Ottichilo has mourned his County Secretary Mr. Ezekiel Marley Ayiego as a dedicated county staff.
In his condolence message, Governor Ottichilo wrote, “It is with deep sadness that I have learned of the passing of Mr. Ezekiel Marley Ayiego, who was serving as the County Secretary and Head of County Public Service in the Vihiga County Government at the time of his death.”
According to Governor Ottichilo, Mr. Ayiego, who unexpectedly passed away last night at his residence, was a committed administrator, educator, change advocate, and a dear friend to him and many others.
He served as a highly efficient County Secretary in the current administration diligently to reform the Vihiga County Public Service.
“On behalf of my family, the County Government Staff and the people of Vihiga County, I wish to send my deep condolences to the family and friends of Ezekiel Marley Ayiego. May the Lord rest his soul in eternal peace.
Meanwhile, the Council of Governors through leadership has also sent condolence message to Governor Ottichilo and the entire Vihiga County Government.
