The entry of Wakili Boniface Githinji Ndumia into the race for Nakuru Town East MP 2027 has rattled area MP David Gikaria.
Wakili Ndumia, a first timer in Nakuru Town East politics seems to be taking momentum each and every day.
The Lawyer with vast experience in legal matters has become a household name in Nakuru Town East Constituency and neighbourhood.
He has opted for a meet the tour way of introdctory to the constituents, addressing some if their challenges as he sells his agenda.
Currently, Wakili Ndumia has already hobe round the vast Constituency.
However, his way of doing politics has continued to send shivers among opponents.
Ironically, the area MP David Gikaria who had indicated that he will be going for Senatorual seat, now seems rattled by Wakili Ndumia’s entry into the Nakuru Town East Parliamentary seat politics.
Gikaria who was elected on UDA ticket in 2022, has on many ocassions told off Wakili Ndumia.
Gikaria claims that Nakuru Town East Constituency has its way of politics.
In a recent presser, Gikaria who is allied to UDA apsirants Fadhili Msuri and Maina Wakabura, claimed that come 2027 Team Wakili Ndumia will face it tough as campaings roll.
He rediculed the acts of philantropy that Wakili Ndumia has been doingin various Wards.
However, political pundits argue that Gikaria might be releasing political venom to Wakili Ndumia owing to his popularity and political muscle.
They add that of all the aspirants, Wakili Ndumia of DCP seems to have earned a niche in Nakuru Town East political space.
On his part Wakili Ndumia who has passion towards improving livelihoods, says he will not be detered by the naysayers.
“I love this. I love to be dared. He just dared – not just me. But all our supporters. He still feels he has any form of control of NTE politics. I love this delusion and the arrogance of Hon David Gikaria,” he stated.
According to Wakili Ndumia, the people of Nakuru Town East are fed up with politics of deceit and handouts and time is now to bring such to an end.
Ndumia having walked in corridors of justice representing various clients in Law courts believes that true power resides in the people of NTE.
He told off Gikaria adding that all his erstwhile dirty electoral tricks are now outdated and overtaken by times.
That Team Wakili Ndumia are way ahead of him and his usual electoral dirty tricks.
In a Press Release, Wakili Ndumia has also warned Gikaria against any attempts to tamper and infiltrate DCP nominations.
“He shall know that we did not send ourselves. And that He who sent us is mightier than him and all the dark forces backing him. He just dared the #SisiNdioNDUMIA and the #Wantam Movement. Let it sweep him and his cahoots out of their offices,” he said.
Others who have shown interest in Nakuru Town Easp Parliamentary seat 2027 include Biashara Ward MCA Fadhili Msuri, Menengai East MCA Wilson Mwangi, Businessmen Bernard Nguruna and Maina Wakabura and Human Rights Defender Martin Lunalo among others.
