Sombre mood engulfed Kipkebe area in Bomet County on Saturday March 7, 2026 as photojournalist Nicholas Kosgei was laid to rest.
Nick as he was commonly known was until his death the official photographer of late Emurua Dikir MP Johana Ng’eno.
They together with other 4 perished in a helicopter crash in Nandi County.
The burial was attended by various leaders among them Women Rep Bomet County Linet Chepkorir Toto.
Addressing mourners, Toto made a commitment to pay full school fees for Chepkemoi, Sister to the late Nick Kosgei.
Nick had been supporting in her education.
Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi who also attended the burial, vowed to clear balance for the purchase of land for the family.
Sudi cleared balance of Ksh 350,000 for the Plot that the Family of Nick had before being buried.
