Former Secretary General of the Kenya Civil Servants Union and Current Member of the Presidential Advisory Board of the Republican National Committee, USA Dr.Isaac Newton Kinity has called for no relent in ensuring justice for the families who lost their loved ones during Generation Z-led peaceful demonstrations against the President Ruto’s Administration.
The Unionist says the world should not keep silent when the government continues its brutality in the killing of the hundreds of peaceful Gen Z demonstrators who are complaining over their infringed rights by the Ruto administration.
In a statement to Newsrooms on Wednesday August 7, 2024, Dr.Kinity also faulted the government over what he termed is the use of force on members of the fourth estate.
“After enjoying impunity in the killings of hundreds of Gen Z without challenge, the administration is now harassing and killing journalists in order to hide evidence of the genocide that is committed towards the peaceful Gen Z demonstrators,” he stated.
Kinity is now demanding that CS
Kithure Kindiki, former Inspector General Japheth Koome, and the police officers caught on camera shooting the peaceful demonstrators be arrested and prosecuted at the ICC immediately.
According to him, extra judicial killings have been experienced in the country where several hundreds of peaceful Gen Z demonstrators have lost lives in the last two months.
“The world should keep an eye on the current uncertain situation in Kenya,” he said.
He pointed out that the Kenya constitution dictates that it is undemocratic, unlawful, and unconstitutional to kill innocent, peaceful demonstrators.
The Unionist argues that Gen Z, who commands the support of all Kenyans have a right to continue with the peaceful demonstrations until their demands are met.
He at the same time called out President William Ruto for practicing the trial and error method of leadership to remain in power.
Meanwhile, the Unionist wants a list of all the massacred Gen Z while demonstrating compiled for remembrance in the future, and all the arrested Gen Zs be released unconditionally.
