Learners in schools in Nakuru West Sub County have a reason to smile after area MP Samuel Arama fulfilled his promise in bursary.
The move has reflected in timely support to local schools.
In a statement to Newsrooms, the Nakuru Town West NG-CDF bursary office indicated that all cheques have been delivered to schools.
“MP Arama, affectionately known as the ‘Super MP’ among his supporters, has fulfilled his bursary pledge by ensuring NG CDF cheques worth millions were delivered to all the local schools,” the statement read.
The significant gesture underscores Arama’s commitment to supporting education and reinforces his reputation as a dependable leader.
To facilitate the distribution, MP Arama dispatched a dedicated team consisting of his Personal Assistant John Koech and Jenerali Hamisi.
The team visited each school to hand over the cheques, ensuring that the support reached the institutions directly and efficiently.
In a message relayed through his PA John Koech, Arama expressed heartfelt gratitude to the school Principals for their perseverance, patience, and understanding.
He also took the opportunity to apologize for the delay in distributing the funds, acknowledging the inconvenience caused by the wait.
The response from the schools has been overwhelmingly positive.
One teacher remarked, “We had no doubt that Hon. Arama would come through. It was just a matter of time because he is a man of his word.” Another noted, “This is the right time, as we have just embarked on the third term session. The support is both needed and appreciated.”
