Farmers have a reason to smile following the launch of e-farmer platform.
E-farmer is a platform which leverages technology and innovation to take agriculture to a higher level by providing unprecedented access to information and markets.
The brilliant idea was created by a group of young people and is the icing on the cake.
Co-operatives Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui who spoke during the launch states that Technology opens a world of opportunities for the youth.
“This is great innovation-a digital platform which enables you to buy goats by the touch of a button,” stated Chelugui.
The CS was accompanied by his ICT & Digital Economy counterpart Eliud Owalo, Secretary to the Cabinet Mercy Wanjau, Principal Secretaries Mohamed Daghar (Transport), Abdi Dubat (EAC) and Baringo South MP Hon. Charles Kamuren.
