Springs of Hope Foundation has been been lauded for various initiatives towards empowerment of women and girls in society.
In a celebratory note in honor of the Foundation, Director of Young Generations, Rotary Club of Nakuru Rtn Col (Rtd) Raymond Cheruiyotaaid the Foundation has played key role towards giving girl child second chance in society.
This, he said goes a long way in addressing stigma and other ills that face girl child in society.
In Celebrating the incredible work of Springs of Hope Foundation – Kijiji Mission, Cheruiyot expressed heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding humanitarian work being carried out by the Foundation- Kijiji Mission based in Nakuru City, Kenya.
He affirmed that the Mission has transformed countless lives in Nakuru County and neighbors.
“As someone with first-hand experience of their impact, I can confidently say that the mission has transformed countless lives across Nakuru County and neighbouring counties,” hw stated.
The Foundation is doing remarkable work in empowering young women through its tailoring training program, offering skills that pave the way to financial independence and restored dignity.
These programs are life-changing, especially for those who previously had limited access to economic opportunities.
In addition, their distribution of food hampers to persons with disabilities, the elderly, and low-income families continues to bring much-needed relief and hope to some of the most vulnerable members of our communities.
This ongoing support has strengthened community resilience and uplifted the lives of many.
He commended Director Jennifer Hughes for her efforts in sourcing for resources.
“I sincerely commend Director Jennifer Hughes for her tireless efforts in sourcing sponsors and ensuring that this noble mission remains alive and impactful. Her compassion and unwavering commitment are a true inspiration,” stated Cheruiyot.
