Barut-Based SOAR Kenya Academy’s Director James Yegon is set to graduate with Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development by end of this month.
Through his official Facebook page, Yegon revealed that he will graduate on November 29, 2024 at Egerton University.
According to the Immediate Past President Rotary Club of Nakuru, he will be graduating with second class honors upper division.
“Dear friends, I’m humbled to invite all of you to my graduation that will be on 29th Nov 2024 at Egerton University where I’ll be graduating for my degree, bachelor in community development with second class honours upper division,” he stated.
He added that there after there shall be homecoming ceremony on December 12, 2024 at SOAR Kenya Academy grounds as from 10am.
While extending invitation to everyone to witness the achievement, Yegon thanked God for the far He has enabled him.
It should be noted that Yegon has helped transform Kilelwet village in Barut by establishing SOAR Kenya Academy.
A school that has continued to assist learners from humble backgrounds to access education at a subsidized fee.
He has also been involved in various community development projects that are aimed to improve livelihoods.
