Sarambei-based Dandelion Africa NGO boasts in economically empowering several women groups.
One such group that has benefitted from the empowerment program by Dandelion Africa is the Nabisho Women Group.
Since starting their table banking journey with Dandelion Africa in March 2021, they’ve transformed a small savings of Ksh3,900 into nearly Ksh600,000.
Through training, they’ve developed skills in business management, record-keeping, and the importance of family planning.
These empowered women are now making informed choices about spacing their children, which contributes to their financial stability and the well-being of their families.
With access to loans, they can grow their businesses and better provide for their households.
Witnessing their impressive financial and personal growth is inspiring, motivating Dandelion Africa to expand these impactful programs to support even more women.
Dandelion Africa Executive Director Wendo Aszed says, the empowerment of women in society is key towards transformation of entire society.
“We want to ensure women are independent and that they can have their voices heard,” she stated.
