Senior County Enforcement officer Nyarangi laid to rest in Njoro

Constable Duncan Omanwa Nyarangi, a 30-year-old enforcement officer at the Inspectorate Department and a senior Driver in Nakuru County Government was on Saturday September 20, 2027 laid to rest in Pwani, Njoro Sub-County.

Nyarangi succumbed to injuries sustained in a tragic road accident on September 5, 2024 at Eburru Mbaruk area.

Speakers at the burial ceremony  eulogized the late as a disciplined, hardworking, and innovative young man whose dedication to public service left a lasting impact.

His passing serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by those in his line of work, and his contributions to the county will be remembered with great respect.

Chief Officers Dr. Charles Koech (Public Service Management), and Everlyn Kakai (Economic Planning) represented Governor Susan Kihika at the funeral ceremony which was also attended by the late Nyarangi’s family, friends, colleagues, and other Nakuru County officials.

Also in attendance were Director Enforcement Charles Nyanaro, Hawa Ibrahim (Administrator and Transport Manager Executive), Ndegwa James (Senior Administrator), John Koech (PA to MP Samuel Arama) among other dignitaries.
