Requiem Mass for late Sunguti held at Holy Cross Parish church Nakuru

Requiem mass for the late Catholic Diocese of Nakuru Lay Apostolate Coordinator Ronald Sanros Sunguti was held on Saturday at Holy Cross Parish in Shabab.

Sunguti passed on last Thursday in what postmortem reveals that he succumbed due to heart attack.

During the requiem Mass, the sermon was delivered by Fr Daniel Rono who called on Christians to emulate the good service to humanity and the Church that Sunguti did since 2008 when he joined Catholic Diocese of Nakuru.
The Priest while noting that life has numerous challenges, he called on Christians to remain steady in faith.
“The challenges are numerous but should not deter us from service to God,” he stated.
The widow Mrs Nanjala Sunguti eulogized her late husband as more than a husband to her, a family man who loved his family.
“I have lost a husband, friend and father to my children. I call for your prayers,” she stated.
Boniface Sunguti- brother to the late and a catechist in Mombasa noted that when Sunguti came to Nakuru had challenges and he encouraged him to get married to ease some of the burdens.
Sunguti will be laid to rest at his Kimilili home in Bungoma County on Tuesday February 11, 2025.
The body leaves Nakuru PNN morgue on Monday for procession to Kimilili.
