President William Ruto has reiterated that the government will do all that pertains in protecting children.
He was speaking at Nakuru Statehouse on Wednesday when he hosted winners of the 63rd Kenya National Drama and Films Festivals 2025 for state concert.
The President was categorical that children should be protected from paedophiles, drug peddlers, and predators who seek to corrupt them.
“We must protect our children from paedophiles, drug peddlers, and predators who seek to corrupt them with toxic ethnicity and divisive politics,” he stated.
At the same time President Ruto revealed that the government was streamlining the Competency based curriculum.
This, he said will enable the CBC deliver quality education that nurtures every child’s potential.
“As a government, we are streamlining the Competency-Based Curriculum to deliver quality education that nurtures every child’s potential,” he said.
The state concert was also attended by First Lady Rachael Ruto, Education CS Julius Ogamba, Nakuru Deputy Governor David Kones and Lawmakers from Nakuru among others.
