Nakuru County to partner with St.Andrew’s Turi on various programs

The county Government of Nakuru will partner with St.Andrews Turi International School in various programs.

This was revealed on Tuesday March 19, 2024 when County Executive for Education Zipporah Wambui, accompanied by Chief Officer for Education Rosemary Kimani and Nakuru County Assembly Education Committee Chairperson Peter Maina paid a courtesy call to the school situated in Molo Sub-County.

Among the proposed areas of partnership between Nakuru County and the school include: supporting the school feeding program, infrastructure development, environmental conservation through planting of trees in the surrounding ECDE centers among others.

This will be part of the School’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Geert Simons, Director-CEO at St Andrew’s international embraced the idea, noting that it offers an opportunity for the school to work together with the County to give back to the community.

It should be noted that the institution which is over 100-years-old is currently conducting a feeding program for Elburgon Sulgwita ECDE, Elburgon DEB School and Greenpark School in Molo Sub-County.
