The County Government of Nakuru has warned members of the public to beware of individuals masquerading as senior County officials.
In a public notice seen by famousnakuru.co.ke, the County notes that a section of individuals have been going round with claims that they are senior county officials.
According to the Public Notice, the individuals are out to con locals over promises that they can secure county jobs for them.
The Notice further warns members of the public that the County Government of Nakuru does not ask for any funds to offer jobs and any such requests are criminal and should be treated as such.
“Beware of conmen and women calling and claiming to be senior officers from the County Government of Nakuru promising to assist in job placement. The County Government of Nakuru does NOT ask for any funds to offer jobs and any such requests are criminal and should be treated as such,” states the notice.
The County Government has appealed to members of the public to report any such activities to the nearest Police station or conduct the County Government via 0512214142 or email info@nakuru.go.ke
