Nakuru-based Journalist Joseph Kipsang is the winner of Sports and Action category at Nation Photo Festival Awards.
Kipsang taking to his social media platforms, he termed the win as the best way to kick off the Christmas season.
“What a fantastic way to kick off the Christmas season! Today, I had the immense honor of winning the inaugural Nation Photo Festival Awards organized by the Nation Media Group,” he stated
According to Kipsang who is currently working with Standard Media Group Nakuru Bureau, his work in the Sports and Action category was recognized, earning him the top spot as the winner and also the first runner-up position in the same category.
He stated that the recognition feels incredible – a testament to his passion for storytelling through the lens.
“Capturing those raw, adrenaline-filled moments of triumph, sweat, and emotion in sports requires both skill and dedication, and I’m thrilled that my efforts have been acknowledged,” he stated.
Kipsang added that the event was more than just an awards ceremony.
He says it was a celebration of art, culture, and the unmatched power of photography to tell stories and connect people.
